Honey Chilli Cake

Everyone knows that cakes are only sweet but this is slightly made different flavors by adding honey. This tasty cake can delight any age group with its unique taste.

    All purpose flour 250 g

    Baking powder 1 tb

    Castle sugar 250 g
  • Image
    Butter 250 g
  • Image
    Eggs 4 n
  • Image
    Milk 5 ts
  • Image
    Vanilla essence ¼ ts
  • Image
    Lemon yellow colour 3 drops
  • Image
    Chilly powder 1 ts
  • Image
    Jam 4 tb
  • For Honey syrup:

  • Image
    Water 150 ml
  • Image
    50 g Sugar
  • Image
    ½ cup Honey
  • Image
    ¼ tsp Rose essence

Method

    Take all purpose flour put it into the kitchen planetary machine and add baking powder, mix it, add castle sugar, butter, eggs, milk, vanilla essence, lemon yellow colour, mix it like a soft mixture, transfer this into the butter papered baking mold, bake them at 160c for 40 minutes. Heat a pan add jam melt it, add sugar, chilly powder mix it well, switch off the flame, and
    keeps it aside.

    For Honey syrup:

    Heat water in a pan, add sugar and honey and mix them well. Cook this till like a sugar syrup consistency, let it cool down and add rose essence. After baking the cake let it cool down and pour the honey syrup on the top and then the melted jam mixture evenly and sprinkle the desiccated coconut on the top, leave it for a minute and then cut the cake into pieces, you have got the delicious Honey Chilli Cake!
